| Details: | SUMMARY: Total Coliform positive and response actions DETAILS: Discussed with Curtis the Total Coliform positive result on 9/25/08, that was received by Suttle Lake Resort on 9/26, test was e.coli absent. Curtis mentioned that 4 Repeats were taken by the lab, and all were total coliform absent. A routine was taken on 9/30/08, which was total coliform present, e.coli absent. At this time, the resort guests were relodged, and access to drinking water from the water system was discontinued. The resort shock chlorinated the well, flushed out the system, made sure that an acceptable level of chlorine residual existed on 9/30/08. Access for the resort guests to drinking water resumed on 10/1/08. Forwarded coliform sampling template, shock chlorination instructions, and public notice templates to Curtis. ACTION NEEDED: Curtis to take 5 routine total coliform samples during the month of October. Resort to consult with DWP if any of the routines are positive. DWP to assist as necessary, especially if total coliform problems continue. | ||
