| Details: | SUMMARY: Zero chlorine residual recorded for 3 coliform samples on Sept 8, 2008 DETAILS: I called and spoke to John Robarge about three coliform samples from September 8th that were reported with a zero chlorine residual. I asked if they had any problems with the chlorination system and he said that they had no problems with it. He said that there was a chlorine residual and it was recorded at the time of the sampling. I asked if Bill Mitchell (on vacation for the month) was available in case they had problems (no other operators are certified to the plant level) and he said that he was out of cell phone reach, but had been calling in. I asked if he had a number for any other operator with a WT3/FE certification. He had me speak to Carl Gifford, who acknowledged having the phone number for Bob Bingham with Warrenton. Pyxis Laboratories was contacted to send the chain of custody and original sample documentation submitted with the samples. The original paperwork did not have a chlorine residual recorded. ACTION NEEDED: The monthly operating report for September indicated that CT had been met and entry point residual was present every day in September. System to submit documentation of residual in the system at the time the September samples were taken. | ||
