| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate greater than 1/2 the MCL DETAILS: The nitrate test taken on 9-14-08 was 6.98mg/l. This is greater than 1/2 the MCL. We received the alert notice on 12-21-07. Russ Hanson called and left a message for Jeff to check his nitrate treatment system and maintain nitrate levels below 5 mg/l. I called Jeff to check on progress and he said that their test strips indicate less than 5 mg/l. I suggested that he collect his 2008 annual nitrate in January to confirm that the treatment adjustment has been done. ACTION NEEDED: System needs to take a nitrate test to confirm that treatment is working properly. | ||
