| Details: | SUMMARY: Three temporary routine samples tested positive for total coliform DETAILS: 7/25/08 The root that is currently growing through the storage tank is going to be removed and the tank resealed from the outside. The system will then be chlorinated. 8/12/08 Don Sexton informed me that the repair is now completed. I consulted him on chlorination procedure (see attached email). 8/19/08 I visited the system and verified that there is no chlorine residual remaining. I collected two special samples in the distribution system. 8/20/08 Two special samples tested negative for total coliform. I informed Don that he can return to routine quarterly sampling protocol. He prefers to submit samples monthly rather than quarterly. I encouraged him to continue doing so. Don will submit a routine sample for August before the end of the month. ACTION NEEDED: No additional action is needed and system can return to routine sampling. | ||
