| Details: | SUMMARY: Temporary routine samples positive for TC DETAILS: Called Bob on Aug. 28, 2008 regarding the 4 positive temporary routine samples taken on 8/26/08. He was unsure why the samples were positive. The 4 repeats last month were negative. We discussed the disinfection technique that he used and he only used a little over a cup of bleach and given that he has 2-81 gallon pressure tanks that could have been inadequate. I told him that I would bring a wand to sanitize the interior of the well case. 8/29/08 I delivered a spray wand to put into the vent of the well case. He will sanitize the well case in one step. After that he will sanitize the distribution system. I also delivered instructions on how to properly sanitize the system. He will sanitize the system and perform 4 repeat samples. The following month he will perform 5 temporary routine samples. ACTION NEEDED: Will continue to monitor the situation. | ||
