| Details: | SUMMARY: follow up to RP positive samples DETAILS: Darlene had called to say all 4 repeat samples taken came back positive for total coliform. She said there was no way of getting a source sample as it goes straight into a holding tank. The holding tank sample has come back positive so they are trying to narrow down the cause(either tank or well). She did not know the last time the tank was drained and cleaned. I recommended this action as well as another chlorination of the system. I told her to take a sample next week to see where it stands and well go from there. I also said they exceeded the monthly MCL and they will need to send out a public notice for total coliforms. I emailed her the link for this form on the DHS website. ACTION NEEDED: Send out public notice, chlorinate system and take sample week of Oct. 20th. | ||
