| Details: | SUMMARY: Inspected water system and collected coliform samples. Boil water warning lifted. DETAILS: Two coliform samples were collected on 10/14. One at Hewes residence was TC negative and one at the reservoir pump station was TC positive. We inspected the reservoir thoroughly and found no evidence of intrusion by animals or birds, and the water was clear. The valve for the reservoir drain line did appear to be leaking with standing water in the valve box. However, this would not seem to cause a water quality problem in the reservoir. All the sample taps used on 10/10 are questionable. Samples were taken 10/15 at the South Well, Redfield vault, and Hewes indoor utility sink. ACTION NEEDED: Boil water warning lifted based on coliform negative results from the supply wells, the reservoir inspection, and coliform negative results from the Hewes residence on 10/14. The only E.coli positive sample was the original taken at the South Well. 10/16 - Results were coliform negative for the sample at the South Well and Redfield vault. | ||
