Details: SUMMARY: Discussed recent NO3 alert with Pat Long DETAILS: NO3 were monitored on July 15, 2008 with a result of 6.7 ppm. 2nd, 3rg, & 4th quarter appear to the quarters in which NO3 are at the highest. I discussed with Pat that he should be M/R NO3 during the 4th quarter of every year at least and if he would like to continue M/R more frequently it would be great information and he should continue to do that. I also discussed with Pat why he though NO3 would be at that level. He said that he leases the building to the Vet Clinic and they have hired a lawn care service. He will check to see if they might be over fertilizing. I asked Pat how the animal waste was disposed of and he said through the garbage and/or septic system. ACTION NEEDED: none
