| Details: | SUMMARY: Discontinuation of using purchased Lake Oswego water DETAILS: Spoke with Richard regarding his 8/27/08 faxed response to 6/13/08 survey indicating that as of 8/27/08 Skylands will no longer use chlorinated City of Lake Oswego water in the summer months, as has been previously done. Historically, Skylands seasonally uses chlorinated Lake Oswego Water in the summer to augment their 120 gpm well that has no treatment on it, water mixes before it reaches any users. Purchased source water reduced to emergency use only. Skylands system is free of chlorine. ACTION NEEDED: If Lake Oswego water is used, Skylands must notify DWP immediately. Skylands will then be required to measure chlorine residual daily in system, if chlorinator not installed on well. DBP monitoring needed for 2008, as chlorinated source used in 2008. DBP monitoring not necessary in future as long as chlorinated surface water not used. | ||
