| Details: | SUMMARY: Water system started continuous chlorination again in October. DETAILS: Met with Darin Tuil, DRC, and Diane Berry, City Manager. The Circuit Rider had inspected the system in September to review the potential cause of coliform occurrences. No direct cause was determined but chlorination was recommended because of the potential for biofilm growth in the distribution system. October coliform sample was good and a chlorine residual of about 0.5 mg/l is present in the system. ACTION NEEDED: The City will continue chlorination for several months and notify DWP when changes are made. If chlorination is necessary summer 2009, DWP to set DBP sampling schedule. | ||
