| Details: | SUMMARY: Disinfection Feed Pump Troubleshooting DETAILS: The City of Heppner owns and operates a groundwater system that serves approximately 1,475 people through 683 connections. The system source is a well. DWP contacted HBH to provide assistance with improving the installation of the sodium hypochlorite disinfection system. Air in the feed pump line is giving the system problems. Inspection of the pump connection revealed direct connection to the water main, which would allow air from the pipe to enter the pump feed line. I toured the system with the operator. I provided recommendations for improving the NaOCI feed pump installation. ACTION NEEDED: Provide recommendations for improving installation of NaOCI Disinfection System. | ||
