| Details: | SUMMARY: Pump Problems DETAILS: The City of Sodaville’s water system consists of 5 wells, transmission piping, a 150,000 gallon reservoir, and pumps and pressure tanks to serve the high pressure zone. Water is pumped from the wells to the reservoir. The system has three pressure zones. The High Pressure Zone is pressurized by a booster pump and pressure tank. Sodaville currently has a population of approximately 303 people and 127 connections. The city contacted HBH regarding problems with the pump for the High Pressure Zone. I discussed and looked at the pumping system with Karen Corrington and the contractor working on trying to fix the problem. Open bypass valve was closed by contractor. I contracted the installer of the pump controls (Design Electric) and the pump manufacturer and obtained pump curve. ACTION NEEDED: None | ||
