| Details: | SUMMARY: DBP exceedance - 4th quarter 2008 DETAILS: Jeff emailed me the results of the 4th quarter DBP sampling for Monroe on 10/30/08. The data was entered into sdwis and an alert was generated on 11/12/08 showing TTHM at 0.0925 mg/L (HAA5 was below the MCL). The running annual average was calculated using the 5/14/08, 6/11/08, 8/27/08 and 10/8/08 sample results. The RAA was 0.080 mg/L for TTHM and therefore did not exceed the MCL of 0.080 mg/L. Public notice and disinfection profiling are not required at this time. Monroe must continue to sample quarterly for DBPs under Stage 1 sampling requirements. The new plant is still in pilot testing and will be on-line in the next month or so. At that time, Monroe will continue sampling for DBPs quarterly from the new water source. ACTION NEEDED: Continue quarterly sampling for DBPs. | ||
