| Details: | SUMMARY: Investigated cause of positive total coliform DETAILS: Three water samples were taken at the following locations-- one at the wellhead, one at the tap before the water softener, one at the tap in the womens bathroom. Both the tap at the wellhead and the one located before the water softener had very orange/red water coming out of the faucet which cleared after a few minutes of running. The womens restroom tap water had a slight yellow tint to it, this tap is located after the water softener. Informed Debera Scacco that this coloring could be due to iron/iron bacteria in the water system. Water samples were sent to Public Health Laboratory in Hillsboro for analysis. ACTION NEEDED: They are considering disinfection. | ||
