| Details: | SUMMARY: Violation for failure to collect monthly coliform samples in April and June. DETAILS: 7/18/08 - Upon further investigation it is clear that the system has had trouble submitting samples on time. It also appears that they have submitted samples one day too early. I tried to contact water system operator Greg Stahl to discover that his phone number has been disconnected. Per Neilson Research, recent samples have been submitted by Joseph Dworkin. I called and left a voice mail for Joseph requesting he call me back. 7/23/08 - I spoke with Joseph. Samples were submitted one day early for April and June because he was under the impression from the previous operator that samples had to be in the last day of the month for the next month. I clarified the sampling protocol for Joseph. A passing July sample was collected and there should no longer be an issue with sampling too early. ACTION NEEDED: One routine coliform sample needs to be collected every month. | ||
