| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive routine total coliform DETAILS: On 9/24/08 the KCEHD received an alert for a positive total coliform taken 9/18/08. I called Rob and discussed this with him. Mr. Grounds says that four repeat water samples were taken on 9/19/08 and all were TC negative. Then I contacted Lisa from Spring Street Analytical who confirmed the four repeats were taken. Falcon Heights is a chlorinated water system so Mr. Grounds speculated that the positive results were due to the method of how the sample was taken rather than the actual drinking water being contaminated. NOTE: The attached water alert mistakenly lists the positive sample as a repeat when it is actually a routine sample according to SDWIS. ACTION NEEDED: Five routine samples need to be taken in October regardless of the results. | ||
