Details:	SUMMARY: Checked on situation re: recent PR letter from Portland DETAILS: Checked in with Dick Lauer after receiving a copy of a recent letter from Tom Charbonneau to Dick re: UV Unit. Sounds like the PWS had already revamped their UV unit in October to meet NSF standards (#55), so Dick was surprised to receive the letter, and is re-sending that info to Tom. Also, I let Dick know that it is only a possibility that the new groundwater regs would require them to chlorinate, not certain (it wasnt stated that way in the letter). The Oregon state rules to implement EPAs Groundwater Rule are only now being written, and far from finalized. In addition, this PWS has no record of fecal contamination in the water. ACTION NEEDED: Await notification that PR is completed/approved.
