| Details: | SUMMARY: Three positive routine coliform samples DETAILS: On Oct 9, 2008 the KCEHD received a water quality alert. There were three positive routine samples for total coliform bacteria. I spoke with a representative who informed me that the water system had been chlorinated and flushed. She said that four repeat samples are being taken. On October 13, 2008 I spoke with Lisa of Spring St Analytical who informed me that all four repeat samples were TC negative. She also mentioned that Lakewoods is only required to take four repeat samples, because although 3 routines were taken by choice, they are required to take only one routine sample per month. ACTION NEEDED: Regardless if the samples show as positive or negative five routine TCR samples are required in November. | ||
