| Details: | SUMMARY: Low pressure at two connections DETAILS: Nonda called to find out if she could get some water tanker trucks at two locations on the system. She said that since the line washout, they installed a temporary by-pass to get water to all customers. That seemed to be working fine, until freezing weather hit the last couple days. Now 2 connections do not have any water pressure (top of munson creek road and top of cedar spring road). She was thinking they could get a tanker truck and hook into the system with a hose. I told her that was fine as an emergency measure, but not as a longer term solution (I mentioned a concern over non-NSF hose). The county may be able to provide the water trucks. I also said those 2 connections should be on a boil advisory until pressure is restored and bactis come back negative. As for a longer term solution, they may need booster pumps, or possibly pressure tanks, since there was water pressure during non-peak times and maybe it could fill the pressure tank during those times. I referred her to OECD for funding and also to HBH for circuit rider assistance. ACTION NEEDED: Left message with Rob Henry - he should call Nonda directly. | ||
