| Details: | SUMMARY: Called regarding positive TC quarterly sample DETAILS: Reached Dick Briggs by phone. They had already retaken one coliform sample and were transporting it to the lab. I told him that a total of 4 repeats were required, which need to include the sampling point that already tested positive. He will obtain 3 more bottles and promptly take the other repeat samples. We reviewed criteria to get a clean sample, and it sounds like they will no longer be using this recent sampling location for the quarterly routine samples because it is a low spigot coming right out of the ground (not the suggested minimum of 12 inches above ground). ACTION NEEDED: Await results of repeat samples. | ||
