| Details: | SUMMARY: Called regarding New SNC status for Nitrate DETAILS: Called water system regarding the failure to monitor for Nitrate since 2005. Connie indicated that they purchased the business at the end of 2007 and was not aware of the requirement at that time and when she did find about the monitoring requirement a Nitrate sample was collected on December 16, 2008. Umpqua Research Laboratory was contacted regarding the sample collected in December and they sated the results for the sample have been sent to the Portland office, but they have not been entered into the database. I also informed Connie that they collected two coliform samples during the 4th quarter of 2008 and that they only need to collect one per quarter. ACTION NEEDED: Collect a Nitrate sample in 2009 and one coliform sample before the end of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters. | ||
