| Details: | SUMMARY: alert total coliform DETAILS: Spoke with Samantha today regarding total coliform samples, all four repeat samples taken 1/9/09 came back absent for total coliform. The chlorine pump was moved around to see if it was working and inadvertantly pumped a high amount of chlorine into the system, she checked the residual this morning and it was at 6.0 mg/L. I let her know the MCL is 4.0 and she said they are flushing the tanks and moved the chlorine pump back to its original location where it will turn on only when the well turns on, instead of on all the time…She did say at the time of the repeat samples the chlorine residual was at 0.3 mg/L She is aware of the five required routines in Feb 09. ACTION NEEDED: Five routines in Feb 2009. | ||
