| Details: | SUMMARY: Uranium Alert Response DETAILS: Spoke with Walt regarding result of 36.3 ug/L from the Uranium sample collected 12/17/08. Running annual average is 30.2 ug/L, equalling but not exceeding the MCL. Sent Walt a draft 2009 Letter of Interest form and asked him to review it, sign it, and send it in. Recommended he hire an engineer to help with selection and design of treatment system. Also sent Walt a public notice for the arsenic exceedance and asked him to distribute it and send a dated copy back to DWP. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to continue quarterly monitoring for Uranium and Arsenic, distribute public notice, send dated copy of notice to DWP, submit Letter of Interest. | ||
