| Details: | SUMMARY: TOC Monitoring at CBNB Water Board DETAILS: Steve called to discuss the monitoring schedule in SDWIS for TOC for the Coos Bay North Bend Water Board. CBNB is a direct filtration plant and has been on 4 samples per quarter for Stage 1 Disinfection By-Product sampling. If CBNB wants to receive a reduction to 1 sample per quarter for Stage 1 DBP compliance, monthly raw water TOC sample results for one year must be reported. Currently, the DHS has not received any TOC results from CBNB. If CBNB decides not to seek a DBP reduction, they are not required to submit the monthly TOC sample results and will not receive a violation for not reporting TOC. All TOC samples must be analyzed by a lab certified for TOC analysis. Steve will consider these options with his staff. ACTION NEEDED: Fred Kalish updated the TOC sampling schedule in SDWIS. No further action needed at this time. | ||
