| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform on repeat sample 8/14/08 DETAILS: 8/18/08 The repeat samples collected from the kitchen sink tested positive for total coliform. Ron and I discussed that the kitchen tap is probably not an ideal sampling location. Although three of four repeat samples tested negative it should be noted that Ron did flush a high volume of water through the system prior to collecting the samples. With a return to low usage prior to the start of the school year it is possible that the problem could return. The school district decided to install continuous chlorination. Hydroflow will be doing the installation. I informed Ron of the plan review requirements. ACTION NEEDED: Five temporary routine samples need to be collected in September, after the continuous chlorination is installed and operational. | ||
