Details: | SUMMARY: Detection of PCE at .0024 DETAILS: This system conducts quarterly samples for PCE. Detectable levels have been documented since 1998. The system received a circuit rider study by John Potts in 06/08. An old compressor was thought to be the source and removed from the system. On 10/13/08 Scott Kruger visited the system and found the compressor to still connected but not wired. Scott Kruger spoke to Liza Newcomb the new president of the home owners association about the problems on 10/9/08. It is possible that the storage tank liner may be the source for the PCE. The well has been tested and found to be absent for PCE. Discussion will be had about testing the tank liner for PCE. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for results of next quarterly test and continue to work the system to locate the source of the PCE. | ||
