| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive Ecoli & TC on routine samples November 2008 DETAILS: I contacted John Hammer and informed him that a boil water notice is required to be provided to all water users within 24 hrs due to Ecoli detections on 3 routine samples. I also requested a copy of the notice be provided to the Health Dept for record. This water system has had an unresolved total/fecal coliform issue since February 2008. The system has worked with the Circuit Rider program ( Hank Erbele) and Stutzman pump to disinfect and evaluate the water system. The circuit rider program recommended that the water system pursue a continuous disinfection system back in June 2008. I have contacted the system and informed them of the plan review requirements for a new disinfection system. According to John, funding is the reason a disinfection system has not been installed yet. I have referred the water system to Roberto at DHS to inquire about the revolving loan fund. ACTION NEEDED: Follow up and advise water system until approved treatment plant is operational. | ||
