| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic sample exceeds the MCL DETAILS: 9/16/08 the county health dept received an the MCL alert. The sample result was 0.0106 mg/L. I called Rob and spoke with him regarding his plans to reduce the arsenic levels. He informed me that he has been working with Anderson Engineering regarding their assessment of the type of filtration or treatment to install on the water system. The company they plan to work with, Filtronics, specializes in water filtration. According to rob there are two filtration options being debated for use: First is a permanent media sand filter & 2nd is an electro media 1 filter which removes arsenic levels in the water system to below 2ppb. ACTION NEEDED: Treatment is required. Since February 2007 this water system had either exceeded or approached the MCL for arsenic. | ||
