| Details: | SUMMARY: Pressure Issues DETAILS: The City of Eagle Point owns and operates a Surface Water system serving approximately 8500 customers through 2800 connections. The city receives treated water from the Medford Water Commissions through two entry points. The lower entry point, utilized in the summer months enters the City’s lower pressure zone through a booster pump station. The City has been experiencing pressure problems when an upper water pumping station starts up, lowering the suction pressure side of the pump station (from the Medford Water Commission) is not operating. HBH met with City personnel and suggested that the City should program the lower booster pump station to begin operation shortly before the upper water booster station begins operation. As the City is currently undergoing programming changes, this solution should be simple to implement and should eliminate the problem. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time. | ||
