| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform DETAILS: Oct.28,2008 Daniel hough and I spoke with jessica from Grants Pass Water Lab today. Jessica indicated that repeat samples were collected on Oct. 24 and space #26 tested positive. We spoke with Eric from GPWL who told us that the chlorine residual was none detected on all samples and that the chlorine feed pump is broken. We also spoke with Troy Hill who indicated that he has repaired the feed pump. Additionally, we inquired about the concentration of chlorine being injected into the system. Troy says that he is using a 10.1 water to chlorine ratio. We advised him to use a 20.1 ratio and to double the injection rate to maintain the same concentration to help prevent clogging of the feed pump. Finally, we spoke with Heather Hill and advised her to post a Tier 2 public notice and emailed her a copy. ACTION NEEDED: Five temporary routine samples need to be collected in November. | ||
