| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up on coliform received 11/29/08 DETAILS: System operator, Jim Nash called to report that three of the four repeats samples taken on 11/17/08 were positive for total coliform. The three positive samples were all from within the distribution system #1105, 1145,1035 and the raw water sample was TC absent. Operator believes that the bacteria came from debris located on the bottom of the 1000 gallon pressure tank when air was added to the tank from the bottom a few days prior to drawing the routine sample on 11/14/08. I discussed preparing a maintenance plan for draining and cleaning the tank on a regular basis. Discussed shock chlorination the distribution system and posting PN ASAP. Requested a copy of PN Reminded operator that five routine samples are due in December. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for results of December routine samples. | ||
