| Details: | SUMMARY: Initial Monitoring Reduction Request DETAILS: Initial monitoring reduction evaluation was requested for "New" well (L81349). Shallow groundwater in area has documented contamination problems - some constituents are DNAPLs. SOC/VOC initial monitoring reduction to 1 sample granted because "New" well is located inside delineated Drinking Water Source Area-- "New" well is adequately constructed to capture water from deeper water-bearing zone-- and Chloroform detection possibably associated with well disinfection prior to sampling. Raw water chem reviewed for possible Pb/Cu issues and DWP determined that current monitoring schedule is adequate. All sample schedules updated in SDWIS. ACTION NEEDED: None | ||
