| Details: | SUMMARY: Water Quality Troubleshooting DETAILS: The system owns and operates a ground water system. The utility supplies water to 250 full time residents through 145 connections. HBH was contacted by Russell Kazmierczak to provide emergency assistance to the water system regarding numerous water quality complaints. The complaints were in relation to “White Mater” in the drinking water. Previous work by DWP indicates that the matter was organic. I contacted Dayna Sizemore. She forwarded me to the maintenance person (John) for a discussion of the problems. He indicated that the problems had been solved when the utility followed flushing program. He also indicated that the utility was hiring a new operator and an engineer to deal with the problems. I researched possible causes of “white substance” in drinking water. ACTION NEEDED: I will continue pursuing assistance for system. | ||
