| Details: | SUMMARY: total coliform non reporting for 8-31-08 DETAILS: Jim said that he was ill for 2 weeks and missed taking the 4 repeat samples on time. Although it still took him over 30 days to take the repeat samples and we discussed that. Jim took 4 repeat samples and 1 temporary routine sample on 9-11-08. I discussed with Jim the time frame required for repeat samples and what he could do if he ever finds himself in that situation again with being ill and the assistant operator absent. I also mentioned to Jim that temporary routine samples should not be taken on the same day as the repeat samples. Jim has been ensuring that the chlorinator is operating correctly and maintaining the 0.2 ppm minimum residual. ACTION NEEDED: Four repeat samples monitored on September 9, 2008 and reported on 10/01/08. Violation resolved. | ||
