| Details: | SUMMARY: Non reporting nitrates & coliforms DETAILS: This is a transient water system, it distributes water to the Pilot gas station which has a deli and a McDonalds Restaurant in the building. The operator failed to report the quarterly bacti sample for the 2nd quarter of 2008, they also need to report nitrates on a quarterly basis due to a 5.5.ppm in the last quarter of 2007. I spoke with the operator to remind him of his need for testing for both nitrates and coliforms before the end of the month. I also checked for residual chlorine when I pulled a bacteriological sample at the Biggs McDonalds on 9-16-08 and there was no residual. ACTION NEEDED: I asked Todd to check to make sure the system had a chlorine residual and to take the nitrate and coliform samples by the end of the month - quarter. | ||
