Details: SUMMARY: Change to State Regulated water system DETAILS: Water system recently exceeded the MCL for Trichloroethylene, but the number of water users at the system dropped to 18 on 12/2/2008 according to a contact between the owners and Linn County. The water system is now classified as state regulated and not required to continue testing for VOCs. The system plans on continuing to sample voluntarily for TCE and is providing bottled water for workers at the facility. ACTION NEEDED: The water system will required to resume quarterly sampling for TCE if the population increases above 25 in the future and will be required to install treatment or develop a new source if the MCL exceedance persists.
