| Details: | SUMMARY: Disinfection Feed Pump Troubleshooting DETAILS: The City owns and operates a groundwater system that serves approximately 1475 persons through 683 connections. The system source is a well. HBH was contacted by William Goss with the DWP to provide assistance with improving the installation of the sodium hypochlorite disinfection system. Air in the feed pump line is giving the water system problems. Inspection of the pipe connection revealed direct connection to the water main, which would allow air from the pipe to enter the pump feed line. I provided preliminary recommendations for improving the NaOCI feed pump installation. ACTION NEEDED: Provide written recommendations for improving installation of NaOCI Disinfection System. | ||
