| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform DETAILS: Jeff Vandiver from Stutzman Services called to let me know he will be working with Jeff Steyart at Morse Bros to investigate positive sample. Jeff Vandiver looked at the 1000 gallon reservoir and he is concerned about contamination coming from the reservoir screen and/or vent hole on the reservoir. The reservoir is located in an area that is very dusty. He is planning to clean, disinfect and shock the reservoir well and distribution system. He also suspects that the previous company that was drawing samples for quarterly coliform bacteria was drawing it from taps that are not connected to the potable water system for the latest repeat samples. Two wells are on site and provide non potable water for the boiler. Jeff V. will investigate further and report back. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
