| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform 11-20-08 DETAILS: 11-24-08 Three temporary routine samples collected on 11-20-08 positive for total coliform. 11-25-08 I spoke with Fred and he said he shock chlorinated the well, storage tank and distribution system prior to calling us. I advised Fred to please call us after receiving notification of positive test results, as the appropriate action in this case would have been to collect repeat samples before doing anything else. At this point Fred will proceed with his present course of action: wait five days after flushing the system/absence of chlorine and then collect five temporary routine samples in the month of December. 12-5-08 - Fred brought two temporary routine samples to the lab. Both tested negative per Neilson. Three more will have to be turned in before the end of the month. 12-22-08 - Three additional temporary routines were collected on 12/10/08 and tested negative. ACTION NEEDED: One routine sample needs to be collected during the first quarter of 2009. | ||
