| Details: | SUMMARY: DWP Response to Repeat Lead and Copper Sampling DETAILS: Late September lead sampling exceeded 90th percentile AL. In conversations with City it was apparent that the two locations which had lead detects, 487 Lemwick and 33 Crestview were improperly sampled and subject to invalidation. The City resampled at both locations in February and both results were non detect. In conversations with Chuck Michael it was decided that the City should resample at these locations during early part of summer sampling season, June or July. If the samples at this time show non detect or below AL concentrations of lead, then City may submit request to DWP Springfield to invalidate Sept 2008 samples. No further alert response is required until the results from the summer sampling are reviewed. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time. | ||
