| Details: | SUMMARY: Total coliform alert DETAILS: Phone consultation in field 11/11/08 and 11/12/08 regarding coliform samples 11/10/08. The well was chlorinated and run through the distribution system on 11/11/08. I provided handouts and information on proper chlorinating procedures and went over coliform sampling plan to discuss proper sampling technique. He had not been taking off the aerator at the sink he was sampling from or rotating locations. I also discussed posting public notice and helped him create. This was posted by the soda fountain before I left the facility. A copy of the public notice is included with this contact report. Before I arrived and after the well was chlorinated he had taken another 4 samples to be tested. I reminded him to take the 5 routine samples next month. ACTION NEEDED: Take 5 routine samples next month. | ||
