| Details: | SUMMARY: Update on GWUDI source for Jewell SD #8 DETAILS: Called and left a message for Jerry Jones (school superintendant for the Jewell SD #8) to get an update on installing slow sand filtration. On November 5, 2008, I had sent a letter requesting that they respond by November 18, 2008 on whether they plan to resume the installation of slow sand filtration or begin MPA monotoring for a determination of groundwater under the direct influence of surface water (GWUDI). I called and spoke with Joe Donaldson and he indicated that he thought they were going to install slow sand filtration, but recommended I speak with Mr. Jones. ACTION NEEDED: Jerry Jones to contact me next week regarding future plans. | ||
