| Details: | SUMMARY: iron, manganese, lead complaint DETAILS: I received a complaint from a resident on 8/13/08 that their dogs were sick, the filters on their RV were turning black, and that they had their water tested on July 28th and lead, iron, and manganese were high. The water system has iron filtration but according to Randy Reitz with Oregon Water Services (partner to Kevin Hunt, the DRC), the on-site operator Ron (not-certified) had the bypass partially open for a while during this time but has shut it since. The Lead and Copper results taken in August were below the action levels. During the survey in July, and again in the survey letter in September, I advised Randy and Kevin to communicate with Ron about operation and maintenance of the system and the written standard operating protocols for under certified operators. ACTION NEEDED: Randy and Kevin need to communicate with the on-site operator about proper operation and maintenance of the system. | ||
