| Details: | SUMMARY: Customer complaint DETAILS: I received a complaint from a customer regarding black staining on plumbing fixtures and foreign material in the water. The customer is afraid of the water company manager J.R. Rooks, and did not want to contact the water company. I referred the customer to PUC because that agency had been monitoring and compiling complaints from water system customers. However, I contacted Kathy Miller at PUC and they do not have jurisdiction at this time due to a court action. I then called Keith Bedell who is the DRC for the system. He will talk to the customer, but since they wanted to remain anonymous to the water company, I will contact them to let them know that someone else other than the manager would review the water quality issue on site if the customer chooses. Keith mentioned that a leak had recently been repaired at a location near his residence, and the water company had done a good job of communicating with affected customers, and repaired the leak in good order. ACTION NEEDED: Keith Bedell to contact water system customer and work to resolve complaint. | ||
