| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform DETAILS: I advised Terry Hinesely to collect a sample at the well on 2/11/09 which they can now do. If it is negative then the interior of the two tanks should be looked at. This would likely require specialized equipment. If nothing is seen in the tanks then another round of distribution disinfection should be undertaken. 2/18/09 Shirley called and said the special sample from the wellhead is positive for coliform I advised her to shock chlorinate and that the tanks and distribution system would need to be disinfected also. I gave her HBH Consulting phone number to see what services they could offer her. She said she would call me after contacting HBH. 2/19/09 Sean from HBH called and he is planning to disinfect the system one week from today. ACTION NEEDED: Alert has not yet been resolved. | ||
