| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate treatment considerations DETAILS: Gary left message on 2/26/09 stating that they were in the process of considering treatment options with local vendors to reduce nitrates below the MCL. Hoped to have treatment in place within several days. 2/27/09 Returned Garys call and talked about letter from Coos County Health sent to him on 2/23/09 including treating for nitrates. Also determined it appeared illogical to seek a separate deep aquifer with lower nitrates in the Arago area. Encouraged Gary to call Marsha at the state about completing plan review requirements before choosing a treatment option. ACTION NEEDED: Gary said he had posted a public notice again about nitrates at church and could fax certification that he had done so. | ||
