| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate at 14.7 mg/L on 2/12/09 DETAILS: Sent letter stating that public notice must be posted and notifying the public health department that this has been accomplished. Four successive quarterly sample results have shown nitrates in excess of the MCL. System must consult with an licensed engineer, complete the states plan review process incorporating nitrate reduction treatment. Install and operate the nitrate removal treatment system as approved. Continue to submit nitrate samples on a quarterly basis until notified that results indicate treatment is successful. Nitrate sampling may eventually be reduced to an annual basis.
