| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic DETAILS: Discussed arsenic treatment and Mike said they had success in reducing the arsenic level but it was still above the MCl at 0.0186mg?. Mike said the water temp and ph was a factor and mentioned he was adding new equipment to oxidate iron/arsenic for filtration. They may use it in conjunction with chlorine or remove the chlorine. I asked him to contact Tom Charbonneau and make sure the method is approved. I also asked Mike to report monthly arsenic samples for January through March 2009. He said he would. I also informed him the Brad Daniels with the state is going to grant him an additional 30 days to the Administrative Order to complete the work and get results. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to monitor progress. | ||
