| Details: | SUMMARY: SRF Funding Assistance DETAILS: The Pleasant Valley Water Company owns and operates a water system which provides water to approximately 900 people, through 240 connections. The System purchases water from the City of Tillamook, which has a water treatment plant adjacent to the water company service area. HBH was contacted by Ms Zwald to provide recommendations and funding assistance regarding the placement of a new water reservoir. During periods of high water demand, system pressures in the southern part of the service area become low. The addition of a water reservoir would alleviate this pressure problem. I met with manager to review location and costs for reservoir. I also reviewed system map to provide cursory recommendations for looping as well as recommendations for a water system model prior to design of the new reservoir. In addition, provide assistance to the system in the completion of a Letter of Interest for the SDWRLF. ACTION NEEDED: Provide additional assistance as needed. | ||
