| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: 4/10/09 Alert for fecal coliform. Contacted operator and discussed. He did not know the cause of contamination. We discussed the need to take 4 repeat samples ASAP and provide a public notice/boil water advisory until it is resolved. A letter explaining the process and information regarding the public notice, disinfecting a well and reading coliform results was faxed to the operator. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor to ensure no further positives are detected. | ||
